David Dirks was the weekly outdoor columnist for The Times Herald-Record since 1999. He is also the host and producer of the DirksOutdoors radio show on WTBQ FM/AM here in the Hudson Valley (www.WTBQ.com) — one of the only weekly outdoor radio shows of its kind in New York State.
